The moon was full,
月亮圆了
the sky was dark,
天也黑了，
and the stomach was empty.
小龙的肚子空空的。
Dragon was very hungry.
小龙饿极了。
He walked home through the spooky forest
他在恐怖的森林里走来走去，
thinking of good things to eat.
想找点好吃的。
Softly,the wind began to blow.
轻轻地，风开始刮起来。
Whoo...whoooo....
呜...呜...
WHoooowwWHHhooowHOOO.
呜...呼。
That was a scary sound.
那声音可真吓人。
The wet leaves beneath Dragon's feet
潮湿的叶子粘在小龙的脚底，
went squish,squish,squish,squish!
发出嘎吱嘎吱的的声音！
That was a scarier sound.
那声音就更吓人了。
When Dragon got further into the forest,
等小龙走到森林更深处的时候，
he heard the scariest sound of all.
他听到了最吓人的的声音。
'Grrr.....grrr.....GRROWWWL!'
“咯...咯...嗷！”
For a moment,everything was silent.
那一瞬间，整个世界都安静了。
Then suddenly,
突然地，
'Grrr.....grrrr.....GRRROWWWWL!'
“咯...咯...嗷！”
'What could that awful noise be ?'
“这可怕的声音到底是什么呀？”
cried Dragon.
小龙都要吓哭了。
'Grrrrr.....grrrrr.....GRRRROWWWWWL!'
“咯...咯...嗷！”
The growling got louder and louder.
这咆哮声越来越大了。
'GRRRR...GRRRRRRRRR...GRRRRRRROWWWWWWWWWWWWL!'
“咯...咯...嗷！”
Finally, Dragon jumped in the air.
最后，吓得小龙跳了起来。
'Help me !' he screamed.
“救命啊！”他尖叫着。
'It's a monster!'
“这有个怪兽！”
High up in the treetops,
在高高的树顶上，
a light flicked on.
一盏灯被按亮了。
'What's going on down there?'
“底下发生了什么事儿啊？”
shouted a sleepy-eyed squirrel.
一只睡眼惺忪的松鼠大叫道。
'I hear a monster growling !'
“我听到一只怪兽在咆哮！”
cried Dragon.
小龙大声说。
'That's no monster,'yelled the squirrel.
“那根本不是怪兽，”松鼠大叫道。
'That's your stomach!'
“那是你的肚子在叫！”
'Now go home and get something to eat
“现在快点回家吃点东西，
before wake up the whole forest!'
不然你的肚子就要吵醒整个森林的居民啦！”
